On March 28, during a meeting to collect voters’ responses and confidence for candidates for National Assembly deputies term XIII, voters in Quan Thanh ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi agreed to introduce Nguyen Tan Dung, Truong Tan Sang and Le Hong Anh as candidates for NA deputies for the new term.

Earlier, Nguyen Tan Dung, a Politburo member and Prime Minister of Vietnam; Truong Tan Sang, a Politburo member and a standing member of the Secretariat; and Le Hong Anh, a Politburo member, secretary of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Public Security were introduced to be candidates for NA deputies by the Politburo and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
During the meeting, voters said that the three candidates were completely loyal to the interests of the Party, the country and people, and showed their excellent leadership and high sense of responsibility at work.
The three candidates made important contributions to the Party, Government and the nation, helping the country overcome difficulties, record great achievements, raise the country’s position in the international arena, and ensure national defence and security.
They listened to people’s aspirations and encouraged them to overcome difficulties and challenges, making them trust more and more in the leadership of the Party and State.
During the 11th National Party Congress, the three candidates were elected to the Party Central Committee and the Politburo.
Responding to the candidates, voter Nguyen Ngoc Khanh said that he hoped the Prime Minister would meet voters annually after NA sessions.
Meanwhile, voter Nguyen Van Bau wanted the Prime Minister to care more about stabilizing the macro economy and controlling the price of essential goods such as medicine and milk.
Voters in Quan Thanh ward added they hoped the candidates would make greater and more important contributions to the Party, State and the nation.
Speaking during the meeting, comrade Nguyen Tan Dung, on behalf of Truong Tan Sang and Le Hong Anh, affirmed that they would strive their best to serve the nation and deserve to be representatives of the people.
